London Pain Service website by Maroon Balloon

 The brief

Operating from famous Harley Street, London Pain Service provides a multi-disciplinary approach to treating pain-related conditions. They identified the need for a website to promote their services and location and an online repository where resources could be downloaded and industry articles could be read and shared. We were commissioned for the job following a recommendation from an IT professional, and employed the services of a local designer to provide impactful branding.

 The solution

As a first step we translated the branding requirements to encompass London Pain Service’s caring and authoritative position in the industry and produced designs for business cards, email signatures and letterheads alongside a simple but powerful logo.

The logo formed the basis of the website colour palette – intentionally sympathetic to the medical industry – and design framework, ensuring all collateral was consistently clean yet strong.

A simple site map structure to the website meant it ticked accessibility and usability boxes, important given the diverse customer base: frequently asked questions and downloadable resources are intuitive to access, blog articles are easy to read.

Finally, the important contact details such as email address, phone number, and location are locked into a ‘sticky’ top info bar – always visible at the top of every page throughout the site, whether you’re viewing on mobile, tablet, desktop or widescreen. Further helpful information such as parking and public transport routes is provided on the Contact page itself.

 The result

Feedback on the development was very positive; London Pain Service are delighted with the overall look and feel, the strong yet simple branding and the presentation of information and resources which was so important in the success of the project.

The client was impressed with the problem-free project journey from conception to delivery and is particularly pleased with their new branding’s consistency across the digital and print mediums.

Following a training session at London Pain Service’s prestigious Harley Street clinic, a bumper User Guide (branded, of course) and 28 days free support, the client is now self-sufficient in updating their website.

Customer feedback

“This being the first time that we have put together a website, we were a little daunted by the prospect. We had firm ideas of what we wanted, but only limited knowledge on how to achieve it. We needn’t have worried. Tim immediately grasped the concepts we explained to him and took us seamlessly through the process.

We felt that Tim worked ‘with us’ rather than ‘for us’ making helpful suggestions, but at the same time not losing track of what was important to our original idea. Tim worked quickly and efficiently and it was obvious that he was just as keen as we were that the finished product was a success.

Once the website was ready to go live we had a very helpful tutorial to be able to maintain and update the pages ourselves. However, Tim is always there for advice and back-up should the need arise.

In short Tim is a highly professional, approachable and likeable bloke. He produces excellent, state of the art work and represents great value for money. We are delighted with our website and we would not hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone looking to achieve the same.”
