We’re pleased to announce the launch of a shiny new website for The Friends of the Bognor Regis Hospital, who provide invaluable support for the Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital here in West Sussex.
It’s a good time to be supporting your local hospital with the NHS being hammered by years of government neglect and under-funding, as widely reported by most news channels. We’re proud to be doing our bit and did also recently build a launch a website for the Friends of Chichester Hospital too.
These volunteer-led Friends organisations work hard to raise funds for hospital equipment and development projects. They make a real difference for patients, visitors and staff during these tough times.
Vital fundraising
Funds are raised via fetes and other events, collections, donations, legacies and membership subscriptions. You can find out more about how to donate, become a Friend or volunteer your time via these new websites at www.friendsofbognorhospital.org.uk and www.friendsofchichesterhospitals.org.uk.
If you’re outside of West Sussex then your local hospital should also have a similar Friends website and we urge you to support them if you can as every little helps, as they say.
Most years we help out at the Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital summer fete which is great fun whilst raising vital funds for the Friends. Most of us will one day need the services of our local hospital so let’s keep them in business!
